OFFICE ORDER Board of Directors GEPCO, through its Resolution No.16 dated 22.04.2022 has been pleased to accord approval of Ex-Gratia payment of one month's running basic pay to all Regular / Contract / Deputation / Daily wages employees on the payroll of GEPCO as on 30.04.2022, as per following parameters:-a) It will be admissible to all employees (Regular / Contract / Deputation I Daily wages) working on the payroll of OEPCO for six months or more on 30th April 2022. b) Daily wages employees must have been originally appointed at least one year back from 30 April 2022. The daily wages employees will be allowed Ex-Gratia payment equivalent to the pay determined by adding the number of increments corresponding to their number of years served so far to the minimum of the pay scale. c) The regular employees/contract employees hired on pay scales will be allowed one month of running basic pay. d) 70% of the lump sum pay package to contract employees hired on market-based salary will be considered as their basic salary. e) The employees involved in acts of misconduct, corruption, then of electricity, embezzlement, fraud and unethical act / gross misconduct, etc. will not be entitled. 1) The employees, who are under any inquiry/investigation In the department as well as in NAEVFIA etc. will not be eligible. In case of exoneration from the charges, the employee will be entitled to this Ex-Gratin payment. g) The employees on extra-ordinary leave or on deputation abroad will not be entitled. h) The employees who have been penalized under E&D Rules "Major Penalty" during the last year will not be entitled. 0 The employees who are under suspension or remained it months during the last one-year arc are not entitled.

GEPCO New Connection Application Procedure, Tracking, Status, Demand Notice Fee,
PROCEDURE FOR NEW CONNECTION/EXTENSION AND
REDUCTION OF LOAD/CHANGE OF NAME
GENERAL INFORMATION
Information desired from GEPCO relative to subject matters covered by this Manual may be
obtained by personal call, by telephone, or by mail and is also available on the web: www.gepco.com.pk.
The local office of the area is the main contact office where a separate window is available in addition to
the consumer service centers established by GEPCO, to provide all necessary information required
regarding application for new connections and all other matters relating to consumer services and
provision of electric power services.
APPLICATION FOR SERVICE CONNECTION
(a) Application and Power Supply Contract (A&PSC) Forms in English and Urdu are
available free of charge in each sub-divisional/divisional/circle office of GEPCO and on
GEPCO webpage.
(b) An applicant shall be required to fill in the forms and attach the required supporting
documents as detailed therein.
(c) Any assistance or information required in filling the application form shall be provided to
the applicant by GEPCO staff in the office where form is to be submitted.
(d) Application for new connection can be submitted at GEPCO concerned office in person
or by registered mail. A receipt as acknowledgement of the forms shall be issued by
GEPCO office.
DOCUMENTS TO BE ATTACHED WITH THE APPLICATION
Documents to be attached with the Application and Power Supply Contract are as follows:
(a) Ownership proof of the premises (where connection is required) as determined by
GEPCO.
(b) An affidavit from the owner of the premises to the effect that no connection existed
previously at the premises for which connection is applied for and that he shall pay
GEPCO any outstanding dues in respect of any previous connection which existed at the
premises in question, if noticed later on.
(c) “No Objection Certificate” from the landlord (if the applicant is a tenant along with
landlord’s proof of ownership and affidavit mentioned above).
(d) Attested copies of CNIC of the applicant and two witnesses.
(e) The power of attorney (in case of a Company), in favor of the applicant to the effect that
the applicant is authorized to sign the application and execute agreement on behalf of the
Company.
(f) If the connection is applied in the name of a company, duly incorporated under the law,
then following additional documents shall be attached:-
i) Certificate of incorporation;
ii) Resolution of Board of Directors authorizing a person to sign and
execute the application and agreement form;
iii) Charge creation certificate issued by the Securities and Exchange
Commission of Pakistan equivalent to the amount of security;
iv) List of directors with complete addresses and copies of their
computerized national identity cards.
(g) Available site plan of industry/premises where connection is required.
(h) In case of change of name/extension or reduction of load, a certificate from the Revenue
Office, GEPCO to the effect that no arrears are outstanding against the premises along with proof
of ownership/NOC. Wiring test report would be required in case of extension/reduction of load.
DESIGN, COST ESTIMATE AND DEMAND NOTICE
(a) After the receipt of Application Form along with the required documents GEPCO
Office shall issue an acknowledgement receipt and a serial number to the
applicant for further reference/processing etc. Based on the site inspection, the
application will be evaluated/processed and approved as per the provisions of
Consumer Eligibility Criteria, Grid Code and Distribution Code (where
applicable). A demand notice of cost estimate and security amount shall
subsequently be issued by GEPCO office for payment by the applicant.
(b) Demand Notices for Service Connection cost and Security Deposit shall be sent
under registered post or courier to ensure their delivery to the applicant or
applicant may receive it personally, for that receipt may be obtained from
applicant for record.
i) For payment, branches of designated banks authorized to receive the
Demand Notice charges, etc. shall be intimated to the applicant. The
bank shall receive payment as per demand notice and issue an
acknowledgement receipt etc.
ii) Subsequent to the deposit of payment mentioned in the demand notices
the applicant shall execute the power supply contract with GEPCO in
triplicate.
iii) GEPCO shall determine new final priority number of connection to each
application after the demand notices have been paid and wiring test
report submitted subject to the exemption granted under the policy of
GEPCO.

Subject: OFFER OF APPOINTMENT AS ASSISTANT LINEMAN (ALM) UNDER GEPCO ON LUMPSUM PAY PACKAGE NEITHER CONVERTIBLE CONTRACT NOR ON REGULAR BASIS.
You are hereby informed that you have been appointed as Assistant Lineman (ALM) under GEPCO on a Lumpsum Pay Package basis. The following terms & conditions will apply:
1. Your monthly lumpsum pay package inclusive of all allowances will be @ Rs.25,500/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousands and Five Hundred only).
2. Your tenure of engagement shall be for three (03) years period from the date of joining. The period may be further extended depending upon the company's need and evaluation of your performance.
3. You should not be placed on the regular seniority list of the cadre/post.
4. Your services shall not be convertible to regular cadre.
5. You shall be governed under the “principle of master & servant".
6. You may claim traveling allowance for journeys performed in the interest of company work as admissible under the GEPCO Policy.
7. In case you leave GEPCO service at any time during the training or before completion of the initial period as mentioned in the appointment letter you shall defray to GEPCO the total training cost as liquidated damaged in addition to the amount of salary received during training plus expenses of lodging and boarding if any, borne by company.
8. Before assuming the duty, you will furnish a Surety Bond of Rs. 50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) by two Sureties liable jointly as well as separately that you will serve the GEPCO for the whole period including the following undertakings as well.
i. GEPCO reserves the right to terminate your services without assigning any reason.
ii. If you want to resign/leave the service, one month notice or one month pay of notice at any time before completion/expiry of your period of 3 years alongwith payment of bond mony of Rs.50,000/-.
iii. Your services can be terminated without any notice, if you are found guilty of dishonesty, misconduct, negligence, in-discipline or breach of rules, ruding the period.
