Subject: COMPLIANCE STATUS OF BOD DIRECTIVES
Kindly refer to this office circular No. 1 27/2393-2403 dated 22-06-2021 and ensure compliance of BOD directives i.e de- attach/repatriate all Line Staff, Meter Readers, and Bill Distributors to their parent offices/positions.
Further, Chairman BOD GEPCO has taken serious notice and given his remarks during 127 meetings against agenda item No. 05 (BOD-D-7) held on 08-06-2021 as under:-
“In case of any such official working on a non-field assignment should now result in disciplinary action against the individual as well as relevant HR officer”
It is therefore advised to ensure the compliance of directives issued by Chairman BOD GEPCO, please.

1. All above promoted employees will remain on probation for a period of one year in the first instance. If the work & conduct of employees promoted are found unsatisfactory during probationary period, the appointing authority may then notwithstanding that the period of probation has not yet expired, revert them to their former (Lower) posts without giving them any notice. 2. The employees have been promoted purely on temporary basis and without prejudice to the inquiry case, if any, pending against them they are liable for reversion at any time without giving any notice. 3. The inter-se-seniority will be in the same sequence after promotion as stood in seniority list, maintained and circulated at regional level. They will, however, not entitled to claim the seniority over and above those who may otherwise be seniors to them. 4. The employees should be relieved off, from their duties without waiting for their reliever. They should join their new assignments within week, failing which it will be considered that the employees have foregone their promotion unless they are admitted as indoor patient in the hospital for which a certificate should be supplied by them. They should give in writing and in that case they will not be considered for promotion.
