Severe wind and rain in Lahore, 50 feeders of LESCO dead shot, electricity supply suspended
Heavy wind and rain occurred in Lahore and its surroundings last evening. More than 50 feeders were deadshot due to heavy wind and rain in different areas of Lesko region, due to which electricity supply was suspended in the affected areas. Due to heavy wind and rain, Northern And Sheikhupura Circle was the most affected. On the instructions of LESCO Chief Executive Engineer Shahid Haider, the field staff was put on high alert. The NTDC team completed the restoration work of three towers affected by heavy rains in Kangri area of Balochistan and 220 KV double circuit DG Khan - Loralai transmission line was successfully energized.
