Further, Chairman BOD GEPCO has taken serious notice and given his remarks during 127 meetings against agenda item No. 05 (BOD-D-7) held on 08-06-2021 as under:-

“In case of any such official working on a non-field assignment should now result in disciplinary action against the individual as well as relevant HR officer”

It is therefore advised to ensure the compliance of directives issued by Chairman BOD GEPCO, please.

Applications on the prescribed forms (Available on the official website of GEPCO Gujranwala), duly recommended/forwarded by the Formation Heads, are hereby invited from the GEPCO employees working under your administrative control for the following categories of Long Term Loans / Advances for Financial Year 2021-22: -

a. Purchase of Plot Should be Regular GEPCO 

b. Purchase of House. 

c. Construction of House.

d. Purchase of Car. (On pay of Rs.20,000/- P.M & above) (Regular BPS-16 only)

e, Purchase of Motorcycle (On pay Rs.7,501/- & Above)

f. Purchase of Bicycle (On pay up to Rs.7,500/- P.M)

Fresh applications, duly completed in all respect, with relevant supporting documents in the light of GEPCO Loan /, Advances Policy read with the Pakistan WAPDA Rule regulating the Grant of Advances for the Construction/Purchase of House/Purchase of Plot-1967 and Purchase of Car/Motor Cycle/Bicycle, etc. must reach in this office latest by 15-10-2021. 

Note: - Applications for loan/advances must be accompanied by the following documents: -

1. Copy of computerized payslip for the month of 09/10-2021.

2. 1%, 2" & Last page of Service Book (attested copies).

3, Purpose of the application be written and signed by the applicant himself on overleaf of application. 

4, Certificate regarding completion of five-year service and as a regular GEPCO employee, duly signed by the applicant and countersigned by the Formation Head.

Qualification & Experience: 

• BS Degree in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of experience in an HSE leadership role, preferably in a power utility organization.

Job Profile:

• Chief Health Safety and Environment Officer shall implement and maintain an environmental, health and safety program involving hazard identification evaluation and control, accident/injury prevention, hazardous material/waste management, emergency preparedness, fire safety, and environmental regulatory compliance:-
• Provide HSE leadership, training and operational support to all levels of the GEPCO organization.
• Put in place an effective HSE Management System and ensure all HSE processes and procedures are implemented.
• Track and evaluate HSE data to identify and reduce risk as well as update processes.
• Work closely with Operations and Construction departments of GEPCO for implementing HSE processes.
• Conduct HSE/Safety regular audit and ensure implementation of remedial measures
• Monitor and ensure effective and timely provision of redressal to HSE/Safety related  complainants.
• Conduct and oversee all aspects of incident investigation including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Formulate and implement an effective fire prevention system
• Ensure emergency response system to manage HSE related emergencies.
• Ensure compliance with all national, provincial laws and NEPRA codes related to HSE
• Organize all necessary trainings and licensing requirements.
• Any other relevant duties assigned

REPORTING CHANNEL

Chief Health Safety and Environment Officer will report to the Chief Executive Officer GEPCO.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Pay & Allowances: Market based competitive package.

2. Tenure: The appointment will be made on CONTRACT basis initially for a period of Three (3) years,

extendable on satisfactory performance by the Board of Directors GEPCO.
