Due to the election, the members of the national and provincial assemblies have accelerated the work of electricity supply in their constituencies, which has made it difficult for LESCO to meet the material. Sources said that the government assembly members are currently under intense pressure to provide electricity poles, meters, connections, a large number of government assembly members have camped at LESCO headquarters. Sitting in the offices of senior officers at the LESCO headquarters all day with lists of poles, meters, transformers, sources said that due to the financial crisis, the equipment was not purchased this year due to which the stores lacked meters, poles, conductors, transformers. There is a severe shortage, due to the shortage of dollars, the State Bank is not opening LCs, which has also stopped the production of goods in private companies. Jahanzeb Badar, a member of LESCO Board of Directors, said that the record of the goods in the stores is being computerized, for which suggestions have been sought, the problem of shortage of goods will be solved in a few months.
