LESCO: Considered to make the electricity transmission system underground LESCO Chairman Hafiz Nauman and CEO Shahid Haider chaired the meeting of the Project Management Unit, a briefing was given on various projects, they directed to remove the defects in the projects immediately. Detailed consideration was given. The Chairman said that LESCO has completely shifted the 66 KVA system to 132 KVA which is an achievement. He said that 16 recommendations of NPCC have been implemented, the impression that the system of LESCO does not have much capacity is not correct. It is only 6 thousand megawatts. The reason for load shedding during heat wave is NTDC's old system which is being upgraded and new transformers are being installed.

 The dream of building an expensive plot, employee housing in Lesco City has gone sour Lesco City, an employee housing project organized by Lesco Foundation, has fallen into disrepair. LESCO Foundation was established with the efforts of former Chief Executive Mujahid Parvez Chatta. It has been learned that lakhs of rupees per marla are being demanded from the LESCO employees while there is no land available at the site. LESCO City Board Member Atiq Ahmed said in his statement that the negotiations for the land are going on, the final price has not been decided, he will announce about it after 2 months.
